Playing For Keeps

Every year, the University of Dubuque hosts a prestigious annual art show. As part of this event, every Digital Art and Design (DART) student is tasked with creating a unique digital artwork to be showcased in the gallery. Following the hanging of every piece, the DART department awards prizes for honorable mentions, 3rd, 2nd, and 1st place, as well as the coveted "Best of Show" award. The Best of Show normally has their piece bought by the university. Among the artworks displayed, one of my pieces was honored with the "Best of Show" distinction. This particular piece depicts a group of elderly people at a gambling table playing a game of cards with some pirate like skeletons.
